You are correct that Good Sam Roadside Assistance will tow your vehicle to the nearest willing and capable repair facility (determined by dispatch at the time of the disablement). In cases where a member requests a specific drop-off location, this can sometimes result in an out-of-pocket cost for the difference in time or mileage to our determined closest willing and capable repair facility. There is not a "2 hour maximum" for towing in our program as suggested. That being said, we would like to research the incident in order to best assist you in this matter.
