Did you drive it afterwards or have to have it towed?

From the sounds of it, I would have been afraid that huge windshield would fall out while driving.

I have had three different roadside assistance providers over the years and have never had one that would tow due to a disablement caused by an accident.They would only provide a tow if the disablement was caused by a mechanical issue. I have had to pay twice for tows that were due to an accident. My vehicle insurance reimbursed me for the tow.

I have not heard of coach.com. I don't think AAA is a good choice unless you do most of your traveling in your local area.

The Good Sam rep actually hung up when you asked to speak to a supervisor? That's totally unacceptable.

For what it is worth, very pleased with Good Sam Roadside Assistance. Had a mechanical and had excellent service for a tow. On time, knowledgable of what needed to be done for my vehicle etc. Called back afterwards to see if everything went ok with wrecker service.

I think, but not sure, accidents are with your insurance provider not GSRA or others.

GSRA calls are all recorded. So when a supervisor contacts you then can replay your call to know what went wrong. I know, as I was a bit hostile when I first made my call. I thought I could have it towed where I wanted repaired.. (CAT or Freightliner) not the case. It is where they (GSRA) considers the nearest repair center, which was not acceptable to me. I had to pay the difference, which is fair.

Wouldn't this be handled by automotive insurance? Sounds like a collision claim to me.
