That time of year again renew or not renew ?Apparently loyalty means squat to business's anymore ! I just don't get it, lets give a new customer a great deal, but give a loyal customer the shaft !Been getting renewal notices for the last 3 months from GS on RSA for almost twice as much as they are offering a new customer to join..It runs out the end of this month.6 years ago I told dish network where to put their receivers and satellite dish after they wanted to hike their prices and wouldn't upgrade my old receiver, yet it was a free upgrade to new subscribers with a low 2 year contract. After I had been a loyal customer for 10 years. This past Friday I told directv where to put theirs after being with them for 6 years.Nothing but lied to from every person I was connected to. Our bill kept going up and call after call they said it would be credited to my account. Looks like I'll be doing the same with GS RSA unless they want to keep a past customer and charge the same a new customer.

Selling something seems to be more important than taking care of current customers. (AKA customer service)It sounds like some RV dealerships.

In 2013 it was $79.95 then in 2017 $139.95 now for 2018 renewal it is $159.95.I found another one for $109. Looks like I'm switching.FMCA members only pay $69 a year. Where is the GS member discount?I only need it for the MH. Toad has it own lifetime towing. I have no other family members that need to be on it.Why pay for coverage not needed?

Most likely there was a little box you checked, or was already checked for you and required you to uncheck, that gave permission for automatically charging you card when you entered the number.

Ever hear the phase "Bait & Switch". And there's something else I just love. These companies that do automatic renewals without permission. Just had 1 this morning to deal with.

The guy who built our house gets the DISH 2 year deal and at the end of the two years, he switches to the Directv 2 year deal...and back and forth every 2 years. (Me? I cut the cord and use an antenna; haven't missed the Sat. bill or the mostly unwatchable channels.)

I guess a guy could do the same with GSRSA and Coach Net, although you'd have to do it every year. Competition is a good thing for consumers, but I too miss the good ol' days of customer service.

In many industries, customer acquisition costs are especially high, and we consumers see those costs translated into special pricing for new customers while the loyal customers pay much more for the same service. Our best defense is to always be a new customer. Swap cell phone carriers, satellite or cable television providers, and roadside service providers after the introductory pricing and commitment, usually 2 years, expires.

So when you signed up you probably took advantage of the new customer incentive program, knowing that in N years you would be asked to pay the regular/published rate. Sounded good at the time. Now that it’s due you have the option to move to another provider with a new customer incentive program or pay the regular rate that was part of the deal. Your choice. Not sure what there is to complain about.
