So you're saying on your insurance information you have to provide the address you live AND the address you store your RV? And the other insurance company wanted to know how many days "on the road" you'd be vs how many days in storage? Maybe it's different where you live, but I've never heard of that before. "How many miles do you drive to work?" Yes.
Don't know who you have your normal automobile insurance with, but why not check with them?
