I think technically we share the border, but I get your point. You guys govern your side and we govern ours.
For what it's worth, we crossed into CA umpteen times last fall and your border agents were always professional and kind to us. It was amusing to me that the agents had so many synonyms for "guns". Do you have any guns? Any pistols? Any long guns? Any rifles? Any shotguns?
It seemed funny to me, but like you said, your country your rules. - Cummins12V98Explorer III

If Canada wishes to continue the border closing to protect their citizens I say yes, it is your right to do so...your duty.
And what good will that do for either side? FACT 81% of Canadian deaths from Covid were Nursing Facility Residents.
Want to show what I said is factual. - Flyboy320ExplorerOur country, our border, our laws. Those borders are closed to all but commercial traffic....
- dedmistonModeratorWe're still talking about the border, right?

Wearing masks is like vaccinations, those who do protect those who don't, but not the other way around.
Masks are hardly protection. They are a feel Good measure. Meant to make people
Feel Safer!
The protect the people you breath around, not the person wearing them. You're welcome.
Honest question for you:
If I sneeze and somehow don’t lift my mask first, do you think it will contain all of that instantaneous blast?
You don’t have to sneeze to transmit the virus, just breathing can do it. Even if it doesn’t contain everything, it reduces the distance it can travel. If that wasn’t important, why have social distancing?
I think most of us can agree that there is some level of protection with a mask. I will be crossing the border at Buffalo on Monday and ive heard they require me to wear a mask. Not sure how that will conflict with identification. Im a trucker. - wilber1Explorer

'Minuscule' is what a mask does for you or others re viruses. Look up the sizes.
1. It’s not the size of the virus that matters but the size of the droplets that carry the virus
2. Droplets are propelled away by the force of the breath that the droplets are in. This is where the 6’ social distancing recommendation comes from. If you reduce the force of the breath (by slowing it with a mask) you reduce the distance the virus containing droplets will travel. Some of the droplets will absorb in the mask reducing the amount of droplets traveling outward. - BCSnobExplorerIs a mask worn around your neck (not over your mouth and nose) just a fashion accessory?

Sneeze into your arm so any escaping blast will end up on your sleeve? - wnjjExplorer II
