08 V-10 and Banks Power System
My new to me 08 Bounder 33ft came with the Banks Power System, whole kit from air inlet to the exhaust going out the side, however searching on this forum many say its a waste of money for the newer V...

Suggest you contact Gale Banks to confirm what is contained in their kit for your particular engine. The programmer you suggest as missing is an integral part of the control package. Otherwise you are just shooting in the dark and guessing. NOT GOOD!

I thought that was part of the Banks system, reprogramming to make effective use of the other parts installed?
I am not sure what was involved since I did not have the system installed, I do know there was a programmer that came with the Banks system but it was not in the motorhome, 1st owner either kept it or someone got to it.
Does anyone know what the programmer did and is it worth buying a new one from Banks.
