It depends a lot on the condition of the RV. If it's been decently maintained, you could only need to continue maintenance and repair/replace whatever happens to break or wear out as time goes on. If, on the other hand, it's somewhat dilapidated, you could be looking at more or less reconstructing the framework and structure of the motorhome. There are, of course, many stops in between the extremes. Finding a pristine 30-year-old RV is not a simple task.
(I guess by "condition" I mean "freedom from leaks" more than most anything else. Naturally other aspects of the condition are also important, such as proper maintenance of the chassis and properly working appliances and such. Problems with one system or one appliance are generally a lot easier to get a handle on than realizing your entire ceiling structure is in various stages of rotting away.)
