Welcome to the forum. It sounds like you can handle the repairs. However, consider hiring a mobile RV Tech to inspect the unit. They will know what to check. It will be money well spent and a learning experience for you.
And, check the age of the tires. Many change tires at 6-10 years on their RV.
RV tires usually age out before they wear out.
