1997 Country Coach Intrigue

I have recently purchased a 97 CC Intrigue and am about through with a lot of upgrades.

Question: Did CC install a switch for the hot water heater to switch between propane and electric?

Any info is appreciated......thanks and safe travel......Dave

You can run both if you want to heat it up quickly...

For that year this is a great solution. For some odd reason many did not come with switches... Never figured out that one!

Hot water heater...Why are you guys heating hot water?

When you could be using it to unthaw the freezer irregardless
  • On my 96 Vogue, the switch is the breaker for the electric portion, otherwise there is a switch for gas. I always use it on electric(30 or 50 amp).
  • I have never used mine on electric. Looking at it I think the switch on my hwh might be for the electronic ignition. I will have to look at this when I dewinterize and fill hwh with water

  • I have a on/off switch for the electric right on the side of my hwh. my hwh has access by opening the sink base door. There is also a breaker In the electric panel. For propane I have a switch in the kitchen area.
