1997 Roadtrek 190V - Propane Tank

I think they were 8 gal, 30 lb tanks, but that was for a 2001. Here is one that is 30 lb, 7.5 gal, for $152. Manchester doesn't make your exact tank any longer.
All it needs to do is fit in the space you have. You might have to modify the RT's mounting.

I have no idea about the size of the OEM tank, but if it is too expensive and a smaller, less expensive, tank will fit I'd say go for it. I fill up my propane every couple of years whether I need it or not. The stock tank is a monster and unless you camp regularly with Admiral Byrd in the Antarctic I think you can survive with less propane capacity.

I don't know but I just read a handy hint in the General RVing/Gizmos and Handy Hints thread where someone used a different propane water heater in lieu of a new RV water heater. The post was made on May 15 by 82 Jayman.

Might be worth looking into.
