OKay so Ford had the problem with spark plugs but that was cured by 2005 IIRC.
Gm Vortec is probably teamed with an Allison transmission and is supposed to be really reliable
The refrigerator recall involved both Norcold and Dometic Reefers but the recall an still be done at no cost to you if not done already It would probably only affect the 2004 unit but YMMV
