Well, I just tried and the websites that take a VIN (like NHTSA) didn't find anything for my motorhome's VIN either. So I guess they don't do MHs. But there are several other websites that show the recalls by year/make/model. We did get a carfax when we bought our MH. Keep in mind that a carfax may not show everything covering ownership and repairs. It's just an additional tool to use to make your decision, if desired.
