2005 Newmar Canyon Star 3457

Hello all. This is my first post in the Class A section. We may go look at a Canyon Star tomorrow. I've been lurking here for quite some time and understand Newmar manufactures a quality coach. This one is on the Workhorse chassis. I know about the brake recall; just not sure if it applies to a 2005 model or how to find out if it has been fixed. Also with 3 bay doors behind the rear axle, it appears to have a longer tail swing than other coaches. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for? Any comments are welcome.
Thanks,
Ricky
  • Yes you have to be careful that a gasoline coach does not have too much of an over hang past the rear axle. What happens is that when you get into cross winds it will wag the tail. My 36'gas coach I used to have did not have much, but the wind really bother me any ways.

Newmar does manufacture quality coaches, but that was a good observation by you before you take the plunge.
