There are 3 Cummins service locations within a 45 minute drive. Berkeley is 30 miles from Boston for Pete's sake lol. The Dealer is blowing smoke up your butt.

It could be minor or major. Without check you could wind up with a total engine/transmission replacement or just a sensor. Your choice.

You think the battery trick ?

This is a main dealer, I’m going to get a pre inspection anyways for the usual stuff, any suggestions on how to structure this deal other than subject to inspection ?

Would you ask the local truck and Rv service places to give you a quote to fix before you own the RV?

If the dealer doesn't have qualified personnel to diagnose issues with a coach they are trying to sell, I'm not sure I would risk buying anything from them. How do you know there isn't anything else wrong with the coach?

Disconnect the engine battery 3 times, see if the light goes out.
