2006 Fleedwood Jamboree/W V10

Thinking of purchasing the above unit.
Anything in particular I should be aware of or look for?
Unit has 45000 miles and look great...
What do you think would be a fair price

Thanks Just looking for info that I might not have thought about... Thanks Ed
  • We have a 2004 Fleetwood Tioga 26Q (27 feet) We had to replace fridge, roof AC, fresh water pump, converter charger, house batteries and starting batteries 3-4 years ago. These items are pretty standard for all brands and longevity will depend somewhat on amount of use and luck. Best to plan on eventual cost of replacements as need arises. Don't buy an extended warranty package, they are usually full of loopholes and requirements for periodic inspection and maintenance records.
  • We purchased our 2003 Jayco 25ft with 43,000 miles three years ago for $24,000. No issues, good rig and lot of fun.

Did the general maintenance items of fluids right away, then rubber items the second year. Brake fluid every other year. Alignment the first year. Double checked the year of each tire.

Other than that we make subtle improvements each year.

Ford chassis is a good one and by 2006 had nearly all the improvements of the very newest ones.
Jamboree seems to be a good coach.
Biggest single risk factor is water leaks. Pressure test advisable.

Try the NADA Guide Then look for the similar models on all the other sites mentioned.

My 2006 Fleetwood Tioga that I have owned for 7 years, I have encountered only small problems but nothing major. Just Routine Maintenance and the usual upkeep needed to make sure that all seams and openings are sealed and everything is tight and weather resistant ,washing, waxing, oil, filters, and fluid changes.

All of the appliances, refrigerator, stove top, oven, microwave, furnace, water heater, A/C, all have been trouble free and worked without fail. They are all the original ones that came with the RV when new, I have the sales packet from Fleetwood, and it contains all the warranty info with serial numbers and I have checked them all. Only 2 things that are not original, the on demand water pump, it was replaced by El Monte RV about a year before I bought it and the converter/charger that I upgraded to a 4 stage one.

All doors, cabinets and drawers are tight and working as they should, the fit and finish is still very good. Even all the tank sensors work! The Onan generator has been trouble free with over 900 hours on it, just routine maintenance and running it monthly under load if has not been used, to make sure that it stays that way.

Not too bad for a vehicle that is over 10 years old, being put in service as a rental for 5 years in Feb. 2006 and has over 100000 miles on it.
