Not sure about the Holiday Rambler Augusta B+ model 293. Another company - RVision built the Trail-Lite that had a model 293. Sometime around 2006-07 RVision was sold to Monaco who then had one of their subsidiaries HR build the Trail-Lite floor plans. I looked at an HR Sport and the construction appeared to be a twin of our Trail-Lite. There are a number of owners of the Trail-Lite that have posted on the B+ motorhomes topic. Most have been very satisfied. ;)
I believe many of the posters in RV.net would state that the Chevy chassis handles better than the Ford and fuel economy is as good if not slightly better.
I have a Ford e-450 HR B+ put on 6 thousand mile last summer, enjoyed every thing about it.Just can't find something to be upset about. Drives nice, ride is great, tight, every thing worked every time. We take it lots of state parks, alway find a place, It drives better than my Lexus on the road.I don't care about mileage any way, just pay the bill when I get home, don't even look, don't care. The wife is as happy, we had a 5h wheel and would never go back.
