2008 Discovery or 2006 Mandalay

Question

Can't Decide....buy a 2006 Mandalay with 15,000 miles on it or a 2008 Discovery with 15,000 miles. Like the paint on the Mandalay best but like the floorplan on the Discovery best. I have a 7 & 9 year old that figure into the decision also. I want to make sure I don't buy something that ends up costing time and money by being in the shop.
The Mandalay has 400hp and the Discovery has 350hp.
Any thoughts or considerations I should think about?
They are within $5,000 of each other.

I'd go for the floorplan you like best.  Paint is just something to look at, floor plans are what you have to live with.

Drive them both....the power is going to be a big difference I believe the 350hp in the discovery, being an 08' has the small but emission compliant (for new 08' regs) cummins ISB which is only 660 ft/lbs of torque, the mandalay will have at least 1150 ft/lbs and will be a huge difference in how they drive providing that the weights are similar.

I'm not super-familiar with the Fleetwood lineup, but I think the Mandalay might be a little higher up in terms of features, etc.  However, 2 years newer levels the field, though the (probably) smaller engine in the Fleetwood is a concern.  But I agree that floor plan outranks paint color any day.

I go with newer, the better floor plan and the great service from Fleetwood.
