Thanks. Although I wasn't worried about our coming Sunseeker since no one has reported problems, I'm very glad they are making improvements to the cap. From reading the FR forum, I see that SS's seem to be continuously getting mid-year improvements. It's heartening.
We will make sure to tour the plant. We are 3 hours from there, and have relatives in the vicinity whom we visit a couple times a year.
Yes, FR (at least their C line including Sunseeker / Forester / Lexington / Solera) is real big on what the factory rep in that forum calls a running change. Apparently they get an idea and want to put it into production as quickly as possible. As an example, a few people on that forum lobbied for a bigger hole in the storage compartment for the sewer hose, they used the deck plates they had in stock, then started putting in a bigger one right after. Kind of cool they do take feedback and pivot so quickly. On the flip side, I think it bothers some who ordered unit X and then it updates just a few months later. Sometimes it's so fast the dealer network isn't fully in the loop yet or the website is a little off. You might have read about a bigger capacity hitch they recently put on as an example of that.
