As long as you're not compromising on too many must have or like to have features to justify the acquisition. The coach age is in what I feel is the sweet spot for a second owner. Although the general Newmar warrantee has run out or is close the first owner probably took care of the usual new construction problems. The coach is also young enough that if you choose to purchase an after market warrantee the cost of such should be reasonable.
The one item to verify before moving forward is the actual coach weight against the chassis capacity. A 17,000 lbs. empty house built on an 18,000 lbs. chassis could be a problem when you start filling the coach with stuff.
If you plan to trade in your current rig don't expect much from the dealer. You'll be sell at the wholesale rate while the dealer sells at retail. Just the nature of the transaction.
