30 amp coaches with ECC

My manual has a blurb about 50 amp service too. It also says that there is a bypass valve in the utility compartment so I can fill the fresh water tank from the city water inlet....but it doesn't have that valve. It's an error.

I think that a lot of the stuff in the manual is just generic stuff that applies to more that then Fiesta/Terra models. I have noticed other discrepancies and generalities as well, which lead me to believe this is the case.

Back to the issue. I only have one breaker labelled AC, so unless there is one hidden somewhere or mislabeled, I can't just turn on AC off.

1. I went straight to Fleetwoods on line manual for your motorhome, NOT the brochure
2. Looks like you have a one of a kind wall tstat. Built especially for your particular model with 30 amp service. So, it looks like the ONLY way to stop either AC from operating is to turn the specific breaker for the AC you do NOT want to come on, OFF.
3. I will bet they did not build that many of your specific model with that ECC system. Doug

This is what I have. The dial sticks out of the right side. When you turn it, it moves the numbers above the "Temperature Set" arrow.

It came with standard with 30 amp service. Even if it did come with 50 amp service, I can't fathom any reason why the previous owners would go through the hassle of converting it down to 30. They kept all of their service records, and I have scoured all of them. Not once was there a mention of doing that or of replacing the ECC.

What is weird, though, is that the manual that I have for the ECC shows a picture of it, and it is the same as mine except below the LEDs for the AC's, there is a switch that lets you pick which AC (or both) to run. Mine does't have this switch. It's just blank, as you can see in the picture.

How about a picture of the ECC. I've got a 2007 Fiesta and my ECC lets me turn ON/OFF either A/C.

I looked at the 2007/08/09 Fleetwood Fiesta owners manuals and they did NOT offer a 30 amp service. They all stated 50 amp service with the Intellitec ECC system. Are you the original owner? Is it possible someone in the past 8 years has modified the AC/ECC system if you are not the original owner? Can you post a pic of that wall tstat? Without that pic, it seems nobody can help you. I have NEVER seen a wall roof AC tstat with a "dial". Especially from the Factory. Doug

Well I wish mine was as simple as what you guys are describing, but it is not.

On the control panel there is a dial to set the desired temp, and then there is a slider that let's you set one of the following: Heat, Off, Low Fan, High Fan, Low Cool, High Cool, Auto Cool.

There are no "zones". There are is nothing to select one AC or the other. This is why I am stumped.

You describe what I have. But I just turn on the AC that I want to use and leave the other off. Maybe mine is different but its a no brainer for my RV.

It's a 2008 Fleetwood Fiesta. My ECC absolutely does run two AC's just fine. It's doing it right now. It just keeps them from starting up at the same time, and if I turn on the microwave, it shed's one of them.

The only determining factor in whether one or both AC's come on is how hot it is inside the coach. If it thinks it needs both to cool it down, it runs both.

Not what I said. What I said was, the ECC will NOT auto turn on the 2nd AC. You8 still have a tstat as the last poster mentioned. You need to post brand of AC (I suspect RVP). Can you post a pic of the ECC and the AC wall tstat or is the ECC the tstat assbly for both the ECC and wall tstat? Doug

I have a 2009 Fiesta with 30A and two A/C's. On my EMC for setting A/C I have two Zones, Zone 1 for the front A/C and Zone 2 for the bedroom A/C. I can go to the Zone and set each A/C accordingly. So if you don't want the bedroom A/C to come on just set Zone 2 to off or set the temp so high it won't come on.
