Yesterday I talked to a guy who said he bought the above referenced rig new and sold it three months later because of how difficult it was to hold on the road. He said the wind blew it around severely. I'd never heard of that before. Is that true?

did he indicate whether he had it looked at...tires, air bags, etc?

If his tires were over inflated and he had an alignment problem and was traveling 70 mph in high winds then I'm sure it would be a nightmare. However if all those items were corrected and he dropped his speed and stayed out of the storms then I think it would be a different story.

My 2008 HR Endeavor was a white knuckle monster that was NOT fun to drive like my previous RV's. It took a lot of money and patience to calm the beast. It drives nicely now but was dangerous when new. I mean literally dangerous.

Check tire footprint.Check for plenty of positive caster.Check for worm and sector play in steering box andor steering linkage.
