Remember that most family groups are going to stay together and aren't usually that open to outliers...... As a solo man, there will be more hesitancy from some people, just accept THEIR issues and go on your way.

I have been full timing for 6 years now and I have never been asked how many if I made a reservation.
That said after a few months on the road I no longer make reservations. Meaning I just pull in. And I can count on one hand the CG's that asked upon filling out the registration card how many. And by gawd I would never even think of lying about it.
And "Please" don't broad stroke all campers with a comment that they would not welcome a fellow camper married, single or otherwise.
I have NEVER found anyone being reluctant to talk to a solo RV'er in a CG.
