I pulled it apart a little more, and was able to get the new fan in.
Your suggestions of a new thermostat and belt etc are under consideration now as I type this. A small amount of money considering the amount of time it took to get it out.
Something I failed to mention this RV is new to us, and we are ironing out the bugs. This generator only has 525-550 hrs on it. the hoses & belt look excellent. If it were yours, with the amount of hrs on it, would you invest in replacing the belt, hoses, temp sensor, and thermostat? I'm not really trying to save money here, I'm just looking at the small amount of hours.
