Just contact the dealer service dept. and explain symptoms very clearly. Make sure that the house battery switch is "on", not in "store" position. With a new rig, you probably have an automatic power transfer switch. If not, you need to plug the shore power plug into the receptacle on the side of the generator to get power to the AC. It's possible that what you thought was the AC running was the blower for the furnace. Look carefully at the controls on the thermostat and set for cooling, adjust temp to 65 to get A to come on.
You can buy a digital multi-meter from a Harbor Freight store for under $10. Read instructions, set to DC scale and 20 volts to test house battery. Don't test 110vac unless you know what you are doing, electrocution hazard.
