I realize that when Monaco was bought out a few years ago numerous customers got left with no warranty. However, I have had 3 warranty issues on my new 2013 Monaco. I have gotten better warranty service than any RV I have owned since my 1989 Fleetwood Pace Arrow. I was in 3 different locations for the 3 separate issues. Monaco sent me to close by dealers that did not even handle their products. In addition they authorized repairs above what was installed on the product out of the factory. One of the dealers told me Navistarrv was paying top dollar for warranty repairs. No discounts like other manufacturers. So is it just me that is getting that great warranty service? Seems strange. I have about 7 months left on my warranty. Hopefully most of the major bugs have been repaired. For my warranty repairs Navistarrv has a 24/7 number.
I have owned Pilgrim (no longer in business) Teardrop (no longer in business) Lance (warranty not too bad if you call them and complain) Alpenlite (no longer in business) Fleetwood (In 89 they had a plastic warranty card you could take to any RV dealer for repairs. Very good warranty service) Jayco (still in business but their warranty is pretty bad unless you happen to be next door to a Jayco dealer on a sunny week day & the dealer likes you. Then they only charge an inspection fee first. Guess that is to make up the discount Jayco pays them)
Guess I don't understand the bashing of Navistarrv except they bought up a bankrupt business and a lot of owners lost warranty service. If Navistarrv hadn't bought it up the warranty would still be gone. Not sure you can blame Navistarrv for that.
