What oil does my Allison 1000 tranny like? thanks. book is out side, so is wind and rain.

- I use GM # 6
- Allison wants transoil but do not know about the MFG wants or what is in your unit. Should add whats in the trans. Allison wants transoil when you change it
- Button up that overcoat and wear galoshes :S
