It wasn't exactly a corner. We were turning into a pullout area, that was probably intented for entrance from the opposite direction, but we needed to enter at that point to hook up to our mh. We needed to turn in and then a hard right. Our guess, from looking at the skid marks left by the other car, is the guy behind probably thought we were going to turn left and sped up to pass on the right and then realized what we were doing and wasn't able to stop. At the legal speed limit, he should have been able to stop without leaving rally long skid marks-IMHO.
As no one was hurt and not much damage, we were able to laugh a little. When we got out of the car, the other driver and his wife were yelling at us and I didn't even know what had happened. She yelled, "Why did you hit us?" Even if it was totally our fault, I am not sure that you can hit someone behind you??
