Annual fall question

Since it is now mid-September, and I do not know the answer because I just purchased a new RV in Jan 2014, I will start with the annual fall question:

How do you winterize a Class "A" with a residential fridge with ice maker and washer/dryer?

Also, Do you have to do anything special to the bathroom if you have procelin fixtures?

Thanks,

G George

  • I'm thinking out loud here, because this will be my first winter owning a Class A as well. Not sure about your fridge.

Wash/wax exterior and deep clean interior
Potable antifreeze in the water tank and lines.
Fresh, full tank of fuel with preservative (leaves no space for condensation to build in the tank)
Run generator fuel line empty if you have a cut off. If not, then run enough to get the fuel with preservative in the fuel line and carb or injectors.
Baby powder on slide rubber seals to prevent sticking
Lube all slide tracks/gears and pull in slides.
Lube awning tracks and make sure awning material is dry before storing
Lube stabilizer jacks if recommended for your coach
Remove all food(including dry goods and spices)
Bug spray and rat bait everywhere
Disconnect batteries and connect trickle charge if desired/available

    What did I miss?
