427435,
(What great motor) Anyway, fiberglass roofs are a good roof but, as normal, because they're horizontal, the acquire everything and hold onto it for dear life. On ours, pressure washing was out due to, I knew it would not do any good. Ours too had the zillion little black spots. Along with those, it had globuals of Silicone all over due to lack of care by individuals installing the King Dome and other appliances. I had to literally scrape, with a metal, 1 1/2" stiff bladed paint scraper to get all that silicone off.
Then, out came the Dewalt buffer. The kind used by painters to rub out paint jobs, not the little weasel types that vibrate and do nothing. I used a cutting/polishing compound and then, a wax coat using Kit wax. Yep, it was a ton of work and, when done, as you see in the pics, it dam near looks as good on the roof as the full body paint looks like on the side of the coach. Lots of time, lots of rest periods, (some naps, well, LOTS of naps) but, in about 2 days of on and off work, it looks like it does. You'll have to be the judge if you'll want to go through the work process.
I don't ever plan on putting any floor polish up there. Just not my thing.
Scott
