1. First thing to do is go out and 'night'. Turn on all the lights in the RV and then crawl underneath your MH. Even on a brand spanking new coach you will find numerous points of light coming from the floor, etc, from all the over sized holes the manuf drills for wiring, plumbing etc. And they do NOT fill them in.
Fill all those holes with the 'new' Great Stuff for rodents.
2. Just One Bite is the 'only' bait I have found to work. And yes many times you can't find it at the stores anymore. Just go to any farm/feed supply they always carry it.
3. And I bought a basement model Class C. THE best decision ever that I have made regarding an RV. The sewage controls are all inside a bay at a level you can reach. Beware some of these new C's and TT's you have to just about get on your hands and knees and crawl underneath to reach the sewer hookups.:R If you had a Class A before with a sewage bay you will want a basement model C!
And lastly I did all of the above and for 4 years never had a mouse in the RV. and I live in a rural area with farms/fields all around me......that is until the farmer switched from planting alfalfa to corn.
My first trip out in the spring my generator wouldn't stay running.
Mobile RV came out and I hear him asking me if I was expecting a long winter?
The mice had decided to store their stash of corn and packed it solidly inside every orifice inside my generator with corn!
The corn pictured on the ground was all from inside my gen in the filter, etc.
