My class C is ancient and has no basement - just open tanks and plumbing under the rear of the RV.
I don't think a basement matters. What matters are holes to get inside the RV, and there are probably plenty.
We have never had a mouse problem. Well, I say that. One time, working under the bench seat of the kitchen table, I found an ancient mouse nest with a dead mouse in it, clearly it had been there a loooong time (RV is 28 years old - we have had it 10).
But never any damage or any other evidence.
