That is the reason I am cautious about drilling new holes.
I really don't yet know how big the control box is. The distance from the dome, I'm removing and the entertainment enclosure cannot be more than 4'. If I can put it there it would be much easier. It is already quite crowded. The top shelf is full with just the DVD/CD player and the bottom already has the DVR and antenna booster/distributor. It's already a mess, but I guess it can be done. I would just prefer to place it where the dome controls are now located.
Thanks for all the help offered. That speedometer cable idea helps. I do have some 1/8" garage door cable that I will try to guide through the coax hole first.
