"milestock"......It's been my experience that you typically can't pull new cable as the old cable goes through places that are too small to pull more cable, or are stapled or tied down.
You might want to call Tiffin Service and see if they can tell you if the cable runs through conduit or is just snaked through along the frame.
The sat controller is about 6" wide, by 1.5" tall and about 5" deep. To save space, I made a "U" shaped bracket and attached it to the ceiling of the entertainment cabinet where there was unused space.
Lastly, the new sat comes with a cable cover. If you have to run cable along the roof and drill through, you'll have a cover for it. Whenever I have to drill through the roof, I always do my measuring and drill from the inside out if possible. If you hit the frame or something else, you don't have an usable hole in the roof.
I really appreciate the comments. My single greatest concern was ahat I would run into, trying to pull the control cable with the old one.
The reason for the new coax is that I am pretty sure I will have to add a barrel connector to the old cable, which I would rather not do. Not running the control cable, tracing the old will mean I may need to try to pull the new coax and the control cable with the old coax. This will be a very short distance of less that 4'. If that doesn't work it may come to drilling and eternabond, as a last resort.
