Maybe it is and maybe it isn't. Without knowing what the manufacturer installed that day it could be just as good or not. It has also been exposed to the sun for the last night years and coax does not have an unlimited lifetime when exposed to the elements. Lastly, you may or may not be able to place the Trav'ler such that the existing coax would reach the new Trav'ler installation location and I am not a fan of adding a barrel connector to extend the run of a coax cable.
