Is the Tire Man Dually Valve Stems out of business? I bought a set from him a year or so ago and love them. I was going to recommend them in this thread, with a link, but can't find a working link.
Yes, Tire Man is still in business he has a new website.
Here it is TIRE MAN and Chuck is still there to answer any questions. - OFDPOSExplorerNo I was just on I thought was their site about two weeks ago looking for the metal valve stems , I was rather put back when I saw the cost $120.00 for them.
I wound up on Amazon and bought the 4inch straight extenders for the inside duallys and I believe 135 degrees for the outer duals . I thought I needed the 180 degree and ordered all three to be sure I had what I would need, now I have the 180 degrees ones sitting on the shelf collecting dust ... - BobboExplorer IIIIs the Tire Man Dually Valve Stems out of business? - pnicholsExplorer IIThe all metal (brass or stainless steel) curved valve stems are what you probably would want for the rear inner dual tires in order to use TPMS sender units on the valve stems.
Some in this picture are what I have in mind:

Do the make a straight metal one? The TPMS says these can be a source for leaks. Plus straight metal ones would make putting air in a lot easier.

Anyone on the mount of the booster?? Check above post from me.. Thanks
I'm sorry I can't help on the booster. I use them on my MH and trailers and have never needed the booster. I would try it first and see if you don't get a signal. Then if not try the booster in the middle and adjust accordingly. I have a shorter MH so I have never needed them. Even when I had our 38' 5th wheel I never needed any booster then either. - k9-kenoExplorerAnyone on the mount of the booster?? Check above post from me.. Thanks

- BobboExplorer IIIFlow through vs non
It is easier to use a gauge to check the flow through tire pressure since you don't have to remove the sender unit. For small amounts of air, you can add the air without removing the sender unit. However, the sender unit does significantly restrict the amount of air that goes through, so if you are adding a LOT of air, it is much faster to remove the sending unit. Even then, you are no worse off than you are with the non-flow through, which requires you to remove it even to check the tire pressure with a gauge.
The only real advantage I can see to the non flow through sending units is that they don't stick out quite so far from the tire so you have a lower risk of hitting a curb with them.
I have the flow through.
