The delamination issue is seldom if ever on inside walls. It's separation of the exterior siding layers on composite-sided RV's.

It's a lot of work to replace an interior wall for a problem that with good maintenance shouldn't be a problem. Plus at 50 lbs. a sheet you're adding a lot of weight as compared to what you'll be removing. You'll need to more or less gut the coach interior to make the change. Unless you're doing a conversion project on a bus not sure it it's worth the effort or cost.

so having a backslash for the kitchen area and proper shower panels in the bathroom is what you would suggest to reduce this problem and with a rhino roof outside moisture is not likely to be a problem for a long time so my only real fear is having a miss adventure with the stinky slinky by the looks of it

as i want to take my desktop computer with me ya that was a royal pain to figure out do not ask but its worked out no need for solid state hard drives

and the flooring is not as a big of or worry for me as compatibility is not an issue just want the best option another thread

Personally I think you are over thinking it. Proactive/preventitive maintenance will go further than building a tank.

well i am a thinker well we will keep up with the maintenance and we are having it customized from the factory were it gets delivered to a customizer as empty room with a toilet and maybe a kitchen sink but i want to know all the products they are putting it not leaving much to chance if its not the best of in the top 5 then we are wanting something better yes not trying to build a tank just want something that will not give us problems in 2 weeks off to have something fixed might cost us 10 grand or more as i this is for me working for an indipendent film crew and the other unit not talked about much for the owner and the crew when on the road we are both living our prospective coaches so a few extra bucks to avoid these problems is worth the hassle and the aggravation not to mention to get the look and feel we want meaning its our home not just a car or van its our home so we want our way and we want it done right so known problems should be solved or reduced without regard to cost to some degree a bit of class with little compromise http://www.houzz.com/plexiglass somethings just can not be done no hanging light fixtures but full spectrum lighting from LEDS by using multiable color temperature LEDs and allot of defusing we can get the a soft wide spectrum light witch is impartant to me yet most of my power will be going for my electronics with enough left over for the stove and the air conditioner leaving a few amps of 12 volt left over for the lighting a 50 amp service is a most or i will have to use the gen for half my stuff if on a 30 amp service or not being able to cook and listen to my music at the same time as that would involve the computer and the amplifiers the amplifiers alone would use 1000 watts of power at max volume then my personal desktop with a 1000 watt power supply that never gets turned off and a smaller htpc computer for storing my music as i will not have access to Pandora all the time some sacrifices will be made we are aware of this

He's DEFINITELY over-engineering a product he knows little about...seemingly in 2 directions..RV's and engineering

Do you always type without punctuation or capitalization? It's hard to navigate your posts. If the company that is building your coach is somewhat reputable, they will have all of this figured out already and probably use a standard materials list. typically it's more about layout and ammenities for the customer than structural materials and while they may do what you want, I would lean to the side of letting them guide you through what the best materials are. That's their job. A custom coach from a reputable company should build one without any of the issues you are trying to avoid as standard practice. Who is your coach builder?

You may be in danger of getting so involved with minutiae that you are losing sight of the overall objective. My understanding is that you either have ordered or are planning to order a "shell" and have that delivered to a customizer for the interior finishing.

You should posit your questions/concerns to both the shell builder and the buildout company. Trying to get involved in specing specific materials for basic construction is not productive. The guys who do this every day can give you a small number of choices which you can then research as you wish.

A main concern seems to be de lamination/water intrusion. Leaks come from a couple of sources:
1. Roof & side wall penetrations.
2. Joints in the exterior skin material and window openings.
It's impossible to plan for and eliminate such eventualities as plumbing leaks and user brain farts which cause water spills. Using appropriate materials will abate the damage of such occurrences.

If you can give us more specifics about your overall plan you might get some good feedback from this group as to questions to put to your builders.

1. Who is building your shell?
2. Who is doing the interior?
3. What is your budget range?

The area around Elkhart, IN is full of talent in this business.

I don't know what you are planning on building, but why not get a Foretravel, Newell or a bus conversion to begin with. And if something goes wrong you will have someone to go back to.

What amps are you using that will use 1,000 watts? Do you have speakers that require or can handle that much power? Seems like you are overcomplicating everything.
