Putting my awning away today and the strap broke right near the awning. Of course the awning slammed all the way up. Any ideas how I can improvise a fix to finish out my trip?Thx

open back up till you see the strap and replace it and then close again.Happen to us a few years back. Picked up some strap from the sewing shop.

If you are anywhere near an RV supply store, most of them have replacement straps in stock and can probably help you replace it.

Years ago I sewed one back together.

They are also available online if you will be somewhere for a few days where you can have the delivery made.

If the awning is closed, just lock it and then replace the strap after you finish your trip.
