This might be a dumb question.
Had the motorhome for a few days can't figure out how to open the battery door.
It's in the front of coach. Thanks
Need more information in order for somebody to help or give you some information. What brand of coach do you have? Do you need help with the key not unlocking the compartment door? If it is in the front are you referring to the hood of the coach? - tom68ExplorerIt's a 2005 georgie boy pursuit.
It has two small hard rubber tabs on both sides of the compartment.
It almost looks like a button in the middle of the tabs but nothing you can push. I think now it's some kind of rivet that holds the tab in place.
The grill is below this compartment. Is there some latch that you stick your fingers in to release like on a car. - DSDP_DonExplorerAre these tabs really barrel locks. Did you get a round key with the coach?

NO. I got no key like that
Thanks any guys. Glad you tried. - GPWayneExplorerI have the same thing on my rig.
The tabs are held in place by Barrel locks. You need a locksmith to make a set of keys for you. This setup is used on many RVs and has been around for years.
Whoever sold you the MH should give you all the keys!
You use the key to unlock the door and use the tabs to pull the door open. - mtrumpetExplorerA couple of pictures might help.
- tmarie416ExplorerWe have a 2004 Georgie Boy, we need a key. You can buy them at Camping World or maybe even Amazon. A dealer is more than likely your best bet. Good Luck...
