Best older motor homes ?

I don't know whether gas or diesel, whichever is most economical. As far as size, I could live in a tent, but I have my cats to consider so I don't want anything too small but I don't want a bus either unless maybe it's a small one. I don't care about pop-out's (they probably have a tendency to leak anyway), and I am hanging onto my bike till death do us part ! I don't really know where I'm going to be staying yet. I was thinking perhaps Oregon for a start. I'm in Louisiana now and it is driving me crazy ! But I have to stick it out 'till next year when my CD's mature and I can cash them out, I will then have a little over $50,000 to work with but must keep some available to live on 'till I find employment and for emergencies. I haven't thought about how I'll be towing the bike yet but figure a trailer (open or closed would be easier for the engine to pull than adding all that weight to the back with a lift set-up. Thanks again everyone ! Oh, and as far as age goes, whatever is easiest to work on is what I'm looking for. I don't need all the bells and whistles, the lower tech the better, and I don't mind if the bathroom is an all-in-one either.
