You can economize by stopping less often at restaurants and eating simple healthy foods in your rig at rest stops. Some chain RV parks offer better rates. You can avoid RV park fees by parking overnight at Walmarts and truck stops where permitted but stay overnight in safe places where other RV's are parked. Find places to stay or park overnight in late afternoon unless you make reservations. It's not pleasant to try to find a place to stay at night with all the "no vacancy and" "overnight camping not permitted signs".
