You have the right idea in having a "nest egg" available for unexpected repairs and some modifications you may want to make. Just keep looking and something that fits your $10K purchase budget will show up, more likely after camping season is over this fall. Craigslist is a good place to check for Class C units. Just buy what looks good, don't buy a "fixer-upper", they usually have more problems and expense than you thought at first look see. A good used unit will pay for itself in making you feel good about your investment. They're around, just don't get in a hurry but be ready to jump when you find one that fits your needs. Good Luck!
