Even whith considering other facters, length = more unit weight, more storage weight. At some time this does mean lower gas mpg.

My previous MH, a 1997 24' Coachmen Class C, on a Ford E350,with a V10, over 4 years of driving, averaged a little over 10mpg. My current 32 1/2' Itasca Class C, on an E450, with a V10, in almost 2 1/2 years is averaging around 8.5 mpg, while paying considerably more attention, to the speed I'm running.
