And I have seen oil refineries actually do that!! But you have to have all your ducks in a row to make the claim against them. The receipt from the station. The bill diagnosing the problem. A sample from the station you brought the fuel, take right after you noted the problem, and a sample from your fuel tank. If the samples confirm the mechanics diagnostics, the company will take care of you.
But "fresh fuel", as a retired petroleum hauler, don't make me laugh!
