Beware of older motorhomes with low mileage!
I just purchased a 1994 Thor Chateau motorhome in great shape with 33,000 miles on it. I thought I was getting a deal until I got it home. The first night home, I started having trouble with starting and the turn signals and brake lights wouldn't work. All of these things were working perfectly when I tried it out and drove it home. I couldn't get it to start the next morning so I had it towed to an RV repair place close to my home. It seems that the RV had been sitting for some time and the under hood fuse box had literally fallen apart during my drive home. I've been looking for a fuse box now for almost a week and nobody seems to be able to find one (Ford has it listed as a discontinued part) so now I have a very expensive but nice looking piece of junk. If anyone knows of a 93 or 94 Ford E350 Van or cabover sitting anywhere, please let me know. I'm not sure where to go from here!
