BFGoodrich Tires

I will be replacing my tires in the next three weeks. I need 6 -
245/70R 19.5.

My local dealer give me a price of $2322.00 out the door. The tires are BF Goodrich ST230. Does anyone have any input on this particular tire?

  • B.F. Goodrich are made by Michelin in the U.S.A. very good tire and a good choice IMHO.
  • I have four ST230 11R-22.5 H on the drive axle. Seven years old and no problems. Have never been balanced. Mine were made in Ireland.
  • I have (4) ST230s on the rear of my rig and they've been great. They ride nicely and seem to wear well (though any tire I buy will probably be replaced because of age rather than wear). They're also a lot less expensive than Michelins.
  • Yes, we have ST230's load range H 12R22.5 on our 2004 Country Coach. We bought them at the recommendation of Pat at Pro Tire in Denton TX. They are made in America, owned by Michelin. We have had them over 3 years and put 45,000 miles on them and they ride great. Much better than the Toyos we had on there before, and they are wearing better.
