Mine is 20 years old. If I can get a few more years out of it for $300.00 ill be happy. Next time I will replace the rubber along with all the vents and sky lite. If my a/c's are sill good I will keep them.

Why replace something that doesn't need it. The white coating is simply a reflective surface. As long as the rubber is not damage why worry? There is a thin line between being pro-active and anal.
