Blueberry Hill RV Park

Question

We get a phone call from Blueberry Hill RV park in Bushnell Florida (this is a Sun Community Park) telling us that they will not be excepting ANY credit cards for the ballon payment when coming down for the winter. For some this would be around $2500.00 payable by cash, check or money order. Has anyone else ran in to this?
This is a first for me!

Given a 3% credit card fee they are just trying to save the $75

My winter FL campground does not accept credit cards. They will accept a check or cash. -Tom

Many campgrounds are doing away with credit card payments except to hold your reservation. I expect to see two prices in the future, one for cash and one for credit cards...just like fueling stations.....Cost of doing business.

If it irritates you that much, you could take 2500 $1 bills in a brown paper sack.....:B:B.

CC companies are tightening up...PenFed is the latest to drop their "perk"...it goes away with your November statement...Dennis
