Thank you Old Biscuit, you said it more eloquently that I. I like fine finished projects and I had thought about a similar or possibly exact copy of Ivylogs' downspout stack but being a bit of a frustrated German Craftsman, I usually go overboard and overbuild everything. So many things in our MoHo rattles or are flimsy that I didn't want this built to match. Besides, the DW and I are newly weds and with only 51 years of wedded bliss under our belts, I still feel the need to impress her with my talents.
Ivylog, I would like to know how you mounted the aluminum channel to the suction cup. I have been toying with mounting thru the handle or disassembling and drilling thru the cover and into the "T" of my standoff. The latter would be overbuild but neat and tidy. By the way, the suction cups are currently on sale for $3, got to get a couple just to have around.
