There must be. Mine is labeled as Gen-Turi on the bag and each piece. It definitely extends into the tube and was designed that way. The opening of the PVC is not tapered or anything so there is plenty of airflow around it. Adding another small piece to your ell will get it in the tube and reduce the exhaust noise even more. I will try to get a picture of my gen-turi when I get home.
Yes, please post a picture. The photo below is the only Gen-Turi design I recall seeing since they were introduced some years ago, but I may have missed a change at some point.
Sorry. I've been working some long days. I will post that picture though. Might not get to it till the weekend. Mine may very well be an older design and they went to removing the inlet from the PVC completely for a good reason but mine has nothing wrong with it.
