I'll look again at Simplisafe & check out Fortress - great suggestions.
I have SimpliSafe in S&B and don't think it would work very well in RV unless you spend lots of time in one spot. You register your location with the monitoring service, and then you most likely will need to give some information to the local police department to get a "permit" for the automatic response. To get the email/text alerts, you need to subscribe to the $25/mo premium monitoring service.
Pretty nice system, uses cellular connection so no hard line or no internet connection required. Runs in 120V, but has hours of battery backup in case of a power outage. Has magnetic sensors for doors and windows, motion detectors, glass break sensors, freeze sensors, water sensors and cameras.Has an app for your phone that gives you full control and access to status of all the sensors.
Biggest issue is the police response. Not sure if you can have the electronic access through the monitoring company without the police response or a fixed address.
